4 Your Computer Repairs Terms and Conditions

We do not have a walk in service, if you want to arrange a drop off please call us on 07940964018 or use our contact us page

No Fix No Fee

No fix no fee only applies when the repair is uneconomical to repair or when I can not get the parts to fix your computer/console. It does not include:

You change your mind after I have started
You do not want to go ahead with the repair that is economically viable
You ask for another service that has been completed successfully
Service contracts, where the repair is included in the contract

Our warranty & guarantee

We believe we give a high level of satisfaction with our work and this is why we have various warrantees and guarantees with our products. If we replace any hardware component we will provide a 6 month warranty on it, however some parts come with their own warrantees of between 1 year and 5 years. If it is a service we have provided then we offer a guarantee that it works when you receive it back. The length of the guarantee varies for the service provided but ti will state the length on the service in our main page. All warrantees and guarantees are void if we find that someone else has tampered with our work.

For software repairs we do not have a guarantee however if we did not fix the problem to your specifications then we will take another look at it. The reason we do not offer a guarantee on software repairs is due to outside influences. It is easy for someone to alter something and unknowingly break what we have just repaired.

Service Contracts

Home Service contracts

This does not include office or home office computers and the following:

Servers of any type
Linux operating system
Apple operating system or computers
Hardware needed
Any software needed, however we provide our own remote access software, free
Depending on the service contact any home visits needed over and above what is includes is charged at £30.
Complex firewall and router settings
VPN settings
Computers in a domain

The following is required to be eligible to qualify for the service contracts

Broadband internet connection
Anti virus software, we can supply AVG internet security or Bit defender total security if needed
An active firewall
Windows automatic update enabled
You will need to install our remote access software
Permission to install any freeware programs needed to keep you computer running smoothly
A set time each week to perform any work needed.

Business Service contracts

This service does not include any of the following:

Servers of any type
Linux operating system
Apple operating system or computers
Hardware needed
Any software needed, however we provide our own remote access software, free
Depending on the service contact any home visits needed over and above what is includes is charged at £30.
Complex firewall and router settings
Computers in a domain

The following is required to be eligible to qualify for the service contracts

Broadband internet connection
Anti virus software, we can supply AVG internet security or Bit defender total security if needed
An active firewall
Windows automatic update enabled
You will need to install our remote access software which we will provide free
Permission to install any freeware programs needed to keep you computer running smoothly
A set time each week to perform any work needed.

We will configure a basic VPN for your security while out of your office but you will need either a second computer in your office or a paid for service.

General Service contact conditions

If you would like us to verify your backups are performed you will need to supply us with your backup program details and backup location. We can setup a backup systems at an extra cost.

If you need any repair work performed as part of your service contract we will arrange a time within our opening times, however if a repair is ongoing when our closing time is reached we will continue to work on it until it is fixed.

If you would like a service contract for your server(s) then please contact us as we need more information before we can give you an accurate quote.

If you want us to configure a more complex VPN connection to a server then this will cost more.

Any service or repair that is outside of your service contract will be charged at £30.

A callout is the equivalent of a 2 hour onsite.

If you drop off your computer to our workshop then this still counts as a callout.
